Cheap enough drinks, a little music would be nice. Ok for one or two at the start of the night
Friendly staff, good service. Self service for hot drinks frees up the bar for folk wanting alcoholic beverages. Very clean. Quieter than some 'spoons. Pizza was very good.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is of good quality and is served really quickly. We started using this pub 18 months ago and enjoyed it so much it is now our local.
Enjoyed a lovely steak a good sized portion followed by a delicious sweet.. quite busy but a nice buzz with families and groups enjoying an evening out..top notch service and from ordering to being served our meal surprisingly prompt courteous staff too..
This is our local spoons, and it does the job. I'm not particularly impressed with their menu at the moment, given that they've removed things like the burrito (which used to be my reason for ever going there!) But they have introduced pizzas now, so I'm still willing to go. We don't use it for drinking, only meals out, but the prices are good and there are a couple of things that inspire me to eat. If they were to put back some of the best food on the menu, then I would give more stars, but I believe they cut them due to supplier issues - not a good excuse if you ask me, but equally holds out hope that they may one day return.
